Hull - BBC Radio Hull Raw Talent jump in!
BBC Introducing show, Raw Talent has joined the British Urban Collective to support and nurture new talent in Hull. Listen out for the project team being interviewed by Alan Raw on his show on Sunday 27th April:

About BBC Raw Talent:
Started seven years ago by Alan Raw in a partnership project between BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio Humberside. The award winning Raw Talent show broadcasts 8-10pm every Sunday on BBC Radio Leeds, BBC Radio Humberside and streams live world wide on www.bbc.co.uk/rawtalent
The show is part of the BBC Introducing group and every week there are live full band sessions, acoustic sessions and interviews, plus the best new music.
About Alan Raw:
Alan Raw is a session musician. He’s played on numerous successful releases on several different instruments, and his personal music career highlights include; getting John Peel dancing, playing Glastonbury and making a dub album with Benjamin Zephaniah. He is profiled in Geoff Nicholls definitive book on drummers “Banging On”.
Alan is currently a regional adviser for the New Deal for Musicians programme, Music Career Consultant for Pedestal ltd (social enterprise), Presenter of award winning radio show BBC Raw Talent, acting chair and Director of Volcom (Research and Development Lab for Learning in Hull) and director of on2nite.com. Through his role in BBC Introducing, Alan has chosen four bands for Glastonbury this year and has ten bands on at Leeds/Reading Festival. See the following links for more info:
