Diversity filmmaker Sharon McCance has been nominated Best Director in the upcoming BAFTA Scotland New Talent Awards with her first documentary The Legacy, about the Glasgow Urban Collective, a film she both filmed, directed and edited.

Augustus Allen’s “Amber Light” is being played on BBC Introducing Northern Ireland w/c Feb 8th.

Willy Brown, Glasgow Urban Colelctive, is through to the regional finals of Live and Unsigned, taking place in Glasgow on March 13th. Good luck our kid!

Hull punks Ruperts are in the studio recording an EP before embarking on a regional tour of the north in Spring then heading back into the studio to record the album for summer….

The Someones are recording their album in Sheffield at the moment – nearly complete by all accounts.

Craig McConkey has recorded 9 new tracks towards his debut album at Kaya studios produced by Cireon Cassidy. More coming soon….

The Monday Club are starting to record their album at BUC Lib Lab studios in January with bass player Kevin Elliott producing.

Jody McKenna’s debut album is nearly complete with final mixes happening later in January. Produced by Alan Jones at Nova Studios with Stewart Baxter on additional guitars. Coming soon….

Tonic Tuesdays have landed the support slot for 70’s punk icons Sham 69 on Sunday 16th November at Ivory Blacks in Glasgow.

The young band have rocketed into the local scene following their involvement with the Glasgow Urban Collective in October.
