Jody McKenna
Jody McKenna emerged from the national youth music project British Urban Collective, which landed in Hull earlier this year.
Since the project Jody has begun to record his debut album at The Warren studios in Hull with producer / guitarist Stewart Baxter (Freaks Union, Kill Youth Culture).
Live and recorded, Jody’s bitter sweet songs of broken promises, abandonment and hardship reflect more than his troubled upbringing. Like Lowry, they paint a brutally honest picture of life and death at the raw end of the kingdom.
